It is said that success is a journey, not a destination
and this could not be more true than when dealing with
the rescue and adoption of parrots. The success we have
enjoyed is not measured by statistics or made for TV
stories. We measure success by the kind of people who
have come our way, have seen a challenge and stepped up
to meet it.
There's not a lot of glory in the challenges, but we've
seen people take them on and soar in their spirit and
have seen parrots who were doomed have a chance to live
out their lives in relative peace - as peaceful as life
can be for a wild creature held captive.
These stories are about those parrots and those people
who in our eyes are the real successes.
